Gallery 9 of Los Altos serves as the oldest art gallery in Los Altos. It was originally established in 1970 in Menlo Park by a cooperative group of 9 artists — hence it's name.

Gallery 9 moved to Los Altos in 1973 and to this day some of the earliest members are still with the Gallery. Today's membership now stands at just under thirty and consists of a diverse group of talented local artists who work in various media, including painting, printmaking, photography, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and weaving.
